There is a procedure, tighten in several passes. IT IS 106 INCH POUNDS 106 inch/lbs = 8.83 foot pounds

Somebody needs to change the diagram above about the lower intake it's wrong by the time I got to the second pass tighten sequence on my number 2 bolt, it broke, but it says to go to 106 ft pounds? I think that tightening sequence is very wrong on the ft lbs. So can somebody fix that before another person makes a mistake like me and break a bolt/screw in your intake manifold because now I have to extract it out.

Hello, I'm Danny.

Sorry to hear about your bad luck. As stated in the torque specifications the first pass was to be 27 INCH LBS - or 3 Newton meters. Second pass is to be 106 INCH LBS - or 12 Newton meters. Third and final pass is 11 FOOT LBS or 15 Newton Meters. The diagram doesn't need to be changed it's correct. Only the third pass was mentioned in FOOT LBS equivalent. Sorry you made a mistake. Hope this this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros. I've attached below the picture for you to review.
