1997 Chevy Suburban V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

where is the starter located on a 97 k1500 suburban? when i try to start the truck, all i get is a single loud click. the battery is fully charged.

Follow the positive battery cable. Probably passenger side rear of engine. You may have to get under the vehicle to see the starter? If this is diesel, dual batteries, don't get yourself grounded to a live circuit, at the starter. Disable the circuit.
