The suburban starts fine and can move forward in drive, however it will not move when in reverse or in neutral. When in neutral or park (with the vehicle running or not) it seems like it is still in park as when you try to push the vehicle, it rocks a little like it is hitting a pin and then stops.

Any ideas? Is this a major or minor repair?
Thanks

Before you ruin the transmission you better take it to a transmission shop because I don't believe you have the knowledge or the special tools to fix it, that is a computerized transmission the 4L60, , and it sounds like you may have some solenoids malfunctioning, or the linkages out of adjustment.
