1996 Chevy Suburban rear planetary gear
Transmission problem
1996 Chevy Suburban V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 203000 miles
this gear is broken and needs replacing. we use the car only for bad weather and for carrying larger loads than our others can handle (like moving kids to college). is this worth replacing?

Replacing the gear set can be expensive, if you only use the car occasionally then it may not be worth it to fix with new. You may be able to find a used rear end and just swap it for less.
