My truck has always run very well. The last two days it began to randomly stall on me. The radio will cut out, then pop back on, the ABS light and BRAKE light's come on (those are the only lights that come on) it also makes a warning noise (like when you have the key in the ignition and the door is open). Sometimes the engine stalls and sometimes it just chuggs a bit and continues to run. What could be causing this?

Honestly, many things could cause this, a bad ground, body control module... Has the check engine light come on? You may want to have the computer scanned to see if there are any trouble codes stored. Many nationally recognized parts stores will do it for free, and that way we will have a better idea where to start.

Have that done and let me know what they find.

I just had to check the codes via the diagnostic terminal. I kept getting 12 over and over and over which according to the online code guides says the system is operating normally.

Could having an amplifier hooked up to my battery be causing an electrical short?

ANything is possible. I would try disconnecting it to see if there is a change. Also, if you have a system that vibrates the car, chances are you may have a bad connection now.
