Heater problem
1995 Chevy Suburban Front Wheel Drive Automatic

someone tried to fix the air conditioner in my suburban and disconnected the heater because it was blowing hot air during the summer. Now that it is getting cold I need the heater can you please help me to figure out if they bypassed the heater core or just turned off the heater core. Thank you so much.

Actually, the couldn't have turned it off. Chances are the either the blend door was disconnected or the heater core was bypassed? To check the heater core, look on the firewall of the vehicle. There should be two black heatercore hoses going to the firewall. If the bypassed it, you will see two brass tubes coming from the firewall with nothing attached.

Let me know what you find.
