1994 Chevy Suburban Engine Wont Start

I tried to start my Suburban yesterday and it would not crank over. It did not even click. It was like I never even turned the key. The radio still had power and even the A/C blower was working. It would not take a jump. Also, I tried to charge the battery and it only took about 30 minutes and it was charged. I put it back in the car and tried again, with the same outcome. About 2 weeks ago I was taking the key out and when I did it came out in the power position. Also, I took it out in the off position and the radio was still playing. Do I have an ignition problem, or is it something else. I am physically disable and need my vehicle. I sent you a message yesterday and I have not heard back, yet. I hope to hear from you soon.
