My truck has recently began to run very rough and choppy when cruising between 1200 and 2500 RPM, but runs smooth as ever when accelerating or in a lower gear and over 2500 RPM.

It has a new fuel pump, filter, wires, plugs, battery, alternator and belt. It seems very strange that it is so sudden and jerky, almost as if it is electrical. I have even tried a new MAP sensor to no avail. What could be wrong?

How old is the O2 Sensor?
O2 Sensors start to go "bad" the minute you start using them. They definitely have a limited lifespan. Id start there and then go back to the electrical possibilities. Id start by checking the wear on the distributor and then the electrical components inside the distributor.
