When I started the burb, the starter continued to engage. I turned the key off, and it continued to crank the engine shut off. It eventully ran the battery down. I tried to jump the burb, but when I attached the jumper cables the starter engaged.
I charged the battery reinstalled into the burb. Tried starting and the started would not engage. I've had the started tested and it was O.K. I installed a new iginition switch, and it still did'nt engage. I'm not getting voltage to the purple wire that goes to the silinoid. Now I'm at a lost.

After pulling the ignition switch, and hooking up a universal starter, came to relize the problem the whole time was the silonoid on the starter. When you go to have your sterter tested just go ahead and get another starter and silinoid, it will save you a lot of time and added expence
