Chevy moisture in carpet

2008 Chevy Silverado V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 26000 miles
whenever driving in rain or slush, carpet on driver's side gets wet. This just started happening in the last couple of weeks, replaced rubber floor mats with heavier ones to catch runoff from shoes. Still have the problem.

First, the vehicle is still under warranty, so I recommend taking it to a dealer to have repairs done under warranty. However, are all of the rubber seals good around the door? Does the carpet get wet high enough to indicate it may be coming from the windshield?
