Either the wires disconnected from the rear of the stereo, or one was broken and shorted that channel out on the stereo. Identify which wires go to the non working speakers. Take a D cell battery and touch the speaker wires (one positive one neg) to the battery. IF you hear a slight poping in the speaker, it is good and you have a broken wire or damaged stereo.
