When it started I could feel just a small knocking in the steering wheel. It happens when I go 30 mph or over around slight curves. Now I can feel a definite knocking in the steering and can even hear it at times. Just wondering what your thoughts were on what you might think it is and how it should be fixed. Also I need to note that I did a 6 inch lift on my truck in October. The problem started happening in early December after driving with the lift over 3500 miles. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

well if its nothing you did with the lift kit, these steering columns have a problem with the intermediates shafts, they have too much play in them causing your knocking noise. they have since redesigned the shaft to eliminate this problem. you can only purchase it from the dealer and its relatively inexpensive, i think around 80 or 90 bucks. hope this helps
