2001 Chevy Silverado Raw Stell and watery gas

This truck was on empty and a friend poured 10 gallons of ole,stell,and possibly watery gas in it and drove it like 30 miles.It was a little sluggish but thats common.No engine noise or anything but after it sit over night I went to crank it and the engine is makin all kinds of noises, Sounds very similiar to lifters Clattering.The more throttle you give it the more they raise cain. Would the gas ordeal play a role in this or is it something internal. Oil pressure looks good. No water in the oil. Service engine soon light is on. Thanks for YOUR HELP..
