2000 Chevy Silverado brakes abs noise

2000 Chevy Silverado V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

sometimes when applying brakes a noise (sounds like abs) happens ,but not all the time.brakes work great ,pads ok, rotors lest than year old (new 6 months ago). what could it be or better yet how can i fix it.
