Electrical problem
1999 Chevy Silverado 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic
Hi my name is Todd Johnson I have a 1999 Chevy Silverado. I hooked jumper cables to an ATV to start the ATV. I had to try several times to start the ATV while it was hooked up to the truck by jumper cables. After unhooking the jumper cables I killed the truck. About 15 min. later I tried to start the truck and starter never tried to turn over. All the lights interior and exterior come on and work fine. I checked all the fuses including under the hood and all of them were good. I even took the ignition fuse and the starter fuse apart to see if the were working properly. All the gages come on as usual on the dash. I unhooked the battery thinking it maybe a theft lock out or some kind of security issue with no luck. Is their any other steps I can take to track this problem down and or anything else I can check?
