Hello.
A few days ago we drove approximately 500 miles for a family trip. After we filled up the gastank the second time we had just enough gas to make it home. My daughter then went out the next morning and drove a little bit around town. Later in the day, as I was driving down the street, the truck began to act as if it were out of gas... sputtering and jumping. I put about five gallons of gas in the tank and went to Sonic for a beverage. While waiting at Sonic the truck just turned off. I tried to start it, but it refused. We had the truck towed to our home where we began looking at it yesterday.
I thought there might be some water or debris in the fuel system so we poured alcohol into the choke to dry it out. My brother sprayed in a can of choke and carb cleaner as I attempted to start the engine. We got it started a few times, but the engine would always die out after a few minutes. It doesn't really sound like there is gas going into the combustion chamber, but I don't know what to do to make it do so. The truck is fuel injected.

Thank you for your time,
Robert Glenn

First off it is injected there is no choke. Second do you have a way to check the fuel pressure? It must be a tester for fuel injection as the fuel pressure need to be 55-65 to start and 55 to run. Also how old is the fuel filter? Just for your info don't use regular carb cleaner on this use throttle body cleaner ok. I am thinking you will be replacing the fuel pump assembly and filter. Let me know what you can and we will take it from there.
