1997 Chevy Silverado waterpump

How do I remove the fal clutch from the waterpump housing? I have a new waterpump but cannot get the mold one apart.

you shoud see a large nut looking peice, this screws onto the water pump, find an appropriate wrench to fit this, then take a prybar or large srewdriver and put between the bolts on the water pump pully and rotate the wrench counter clockwise (same as a bolt and nut) be very carfull of where your hand face and any other moving parts are going to go if any of theese tools slip!!!!!!!!!! A local parts store might also have the proper tools to hold the pully which will allow you to avoid injury..
