1997 Chevy Silverado drive shaft twistwd in half in rear

I thought it was the rear end but the truck moves, iam thinking it is the transfer case when you put in R to drive it clunks real loud had to remove te drive shaft while in the road and put the truck in 4 wheel high two move the truck

Check the transfer case back housing. Alot of times the transfer case oil pump spanner can sometime poke a hole in the case causing fluid loss, and then can cause the t case to seize. Check the fluid condition of the fluid in transfer case and rear differential.
