I have a 95 Chevy Stilverado 1500 truck. its got a 5.7 350. I just replaced spark plugs (checked gaps) along with the distributer cap, rotor, spark plug wires, and fuel filter. I also had timing done and I ran B12 injecter cleaner/fuel treatment. About a week later I replaced the throttle control censor. It ran perfect until about 2 weeks later. Now it has a choppy and slow acceleration with about one quarter throttle. It also idles up and down and almost dies sometimes. What could be causing this
?.

Has the check engine light come on? Have you checked for vacuum leaks? Catylatic converter?

The idle sounds like the throttle position sensor, but it sounds like you replaced that already. If you did, you may want to have it checked.

Let me know.

i no longer have a converter for the exhaust and therefore the engine light comes on after about 10 miles of driving. when i got it timed i took it to a dealership so they could check for codes. No codes were thrown.

Without the converter, the O2 sensors may be causing the problem. Also, I do recommend checking for vacuum leaks.

I would suggest checking the EGR valve to make sure it is working and check the fuel pump pressure.

Let me know what you find.
