1994 Chevy Silverado serpintein belt

Ever since i bought my truck at 130000 it has been chewin up belts like crazy. me and my mechanic found out that it was walking off the pulleys but where we dont know. it seems like its coming off at the crank, alternator or powersteering pump. has anyone heard or experienced this? your help is appreciated

Hello !!

check the bearings of the alternator, idler and tensioner also be sure that the power steering pump its not hard to turn... how about A/C ?

something its "lock" at some point and get the "slack" of the tensioner..
also be sure that all the pulleys are well align...

i saw some cases of a lock alternator that keeps wearing belts .....

and something else check the tension of the tensioner spring and replace it iff to loose..
