The clutch in my '94 Silverado is very stiff! After 6 months of driving my knee was so sore that I had to stop driving it.
Is there something I can do to lighten the pressure needed to operate this clutch?

Ok so give me some info first. Is this a Hydrolic Clutch? If so it should not be stiff. Has a new clutch been put in recently? If so what clutch was installed? Get back to me so we can try to figure this out.

Yes this is a hydraulic clutch. The reservoir is full to the top.
The clutch was in it when I bought it used w/180000 miles on the odometer from a Ford dealer. It now has over 200000 miles on it. Although the clutch was stiff when I bought the truck. I thought it was simply because it maybe had a heavy duty clutch in it.
I didn't think about it hurting my knee over time.

It could be a performance clutch like a centerforce or zoom or something. It may be a borg beck 3 finger clutch which is stiffer then a diaphram clutch which would have been stock. It could also be that the release bearing wore a groove on the bearing retainer and you have to over come that just not sure without know what is in there.
