The vent hose from the front differential is blowing 90W out the top of the vent tube at highway speeds. I replaced the valve on the top of the vent tube, but that did not make a difference.

There is an updated vent connector (GM Part #12479390) that threads into the left side of the differential housing. The updated part has a metal cup v.S. Plastic. This prevents the cup from turning upright and filling with oil. The old connector would fill with oil and when pressure built up, it would force oil out of the vent.

Thanks for that information. To the best of my knowledge, that is correct. If the same thing starts to happen with the rear axle vent, you will actually need to drill a new opening in the axle housing to repair it.

Let us know if the updated part takes care of the issue.
