1989 Chevy Silverado Won't start

Vehicle has been running very well and driven daily. Parked it over the weekend. Monday morning would not start.Engine turns over easily, but will not hit. When carburetor primed with gas or "Engine Start", engine starts for a moment and then dies.

What is wrong?
