1988 Chevy Silverado Rear brake lights and blinkers

my rear tail lights work and the blubs are good but the brakes and blinkers won't come on

May be a problem with the turn signal switch. The lower brake lites are wired through the turn switch. In the diagram for the tail lamp assembly, the black wire is ground, the others are voltage. Did you check applicable fuses, not only check the fuse, check for voltage on the circuit, use voltage tester.
