truck not starting

1991 S-10 4WD V-6 AUTOMATIC
Mileage 140,000

My S-10 pickup suddenly lost power. Headlights will not work but flashers, turn signals and wipers still work and engine cranks normally but engine will not start.

The transmission was rebuilt about 4 weeks ago. I noticed engine light comes on while driving.

When I try to start the truck the engine light does not come on but the other lights do, like the battery and oil light.

Check fuses check and clean battery terminals pay more tension to positive side clean the two red cables
Check fusible likes at the starter relay
