I have 1996 Chevy S10 pick up. Have approximately 150K miles on Odometer. Have a 4.3 V-6 engine. Problem began when I noticed engine missing / sputtering when idiling before work one day.

Hooked up a Diagnostic Tool and was given the Trouble code: P0302
Code Definition: Cylinder Number 2 misfire detected

First - Changed out the Plugs - they are new.

Checked and replaced all plug wires.

Have removed cover of "EDI" Distributor - contacts all looked good on cap and rotor.

What can you suggest I do next, or what are possible repair steps I should take next in order to get my truck back on the road.

Any assistance Is greatly appreciated

The 4.3 motors are famous for the injectors getting clogged up or failing completly. Alot of times, doing a proper fuel injection cleaning may resolve the problem but if it does not help, you may have to replace the fuel injectors. The injectors are replaced as a complete assembly. The job is very labor intensive....you might want to consider having your local auto repair shop do the job.
Hope this helps. Good luck!!!!
