So in the morning it might start if there is heavy dew but if it rained heavily it is pretty much guaranteed not to start. Some have said it may be water in the fuel line but I don't think so. Someone also said to use WD-40 on the distributor but I am not sure of exactly where or if that is safe since WD-40 is flamable. Please help! Also FYI otherwise the truck runs like a dream. If it is dry it will start everytime beutifully.

Very likely that there is a problem with the wires and possibly with the cap and rotor.

When its dry out and the truck runs good, perform a moisture test by spraying in mist form water starting at the spark plugs and working your way to the distributer. If it runs rough before you get to the distributer, you'll need wires.

You can spray wd-40 on those parts, but it makes everything messy under there and is usually a temporary fix. Flamable-yes, but also a water displacement fluid.
