2002 Chevy S-10 high RPM's

I changed spark plugs 2 weeks ago. I noticed upon start it takes sometimes 2to3 turns, sometimes starts right away. The rpms sometimes jump to 2500, and im idle at 900 which im told its pretty high, anyway I was told maybe fuel injectors clogged, I tried slick 50 and no luck, any ideas to what might be wrong, and I would make a donation but not sure about this website, and I would rather donate after I get a mental picture of what mite be wrong, im sure the donation would be nice if I know whats wrong, lol

First, 2500 RPM's is very high for an idle. Has the check engine light come on? Second, I would start with checking fuel pump pressure regarding the hard start. Chances are the pressure is dropping off when you shut the car. Then, it takes the pump a few seconds to rebuild pressure.

Let me know about the check engine light.
