hey i have a 2002 chevy s-10 with a 2.2 flex fuel. it will start but it will not go more then a mile before the engine dies. when i pull it over an park it after about 5 seconds it will fire right back up. but then it dies again shortly there after. i am being told by a mechanic that my fuel pump is going out. but the fuel pump was just replaced like 5,000 mile back. could it just be the filter or is it the pump. or is it something else. if it is the pump can you tell me if it is in the gas tank of outside the gas tank? thanks for your time.
