Came out to my truck one morning and it wouldnt start. After a series of tests I found that I had no residual fuel pressure. After about 20 min of shutting the truck down I was going from 60-psi to 0-psi. I replaced the sending unit, pump, and pressure regulator and the truck started yesterday but idle was very high and then very low, I shut the truck down and now it will not start again. You can hear fuel pump running. Why did it decide to start, run funny and now not start again?

Did you replace the fuel filter? Also, the fuel pressure shouldn't drop like that. There has to be a leak or bad check valve at some point.

Let me know about the fuel filter.
