This has happened a couple times and I don't know what to do and nobody can give me a straight answer. A little note on things done to this point. Fixed the radiator recently because no heat was coming out. Had the fuel filter replaced while this problem existed. Fuel pump is a year old. Spark plugs a year old. I'll be driving on long road trips and everything will be going fine. Then after hours of driving and at no predictable point i'll start losing power. It'll be driving and I'll notice a loss in mph but sometimes rpms remains. Then as I try to give it more gas it falls on it's face, rpms stall down and the vehicle just lugs and slows way down. I can only creep along. It's not like limp mode where you could drive 50mph for 50 miles. It got to the point the first time on the interstate where it completely died while I was in rush hour traffic. The second time it happened was after I had driven through the mountains in west virginia. I had a code reader with me and they were reading multiple/random misfires. The other tricky part of this is that it doesn't happen when driving around town or short distances. It also will rectify itself if I pull over and shut it down for only like 3 min or so and then start it back up and I'll be able to drive at full power for another 10 miles or so.
