2001 Chevy S-10 cruise control

I have rebuilt the engine and installwe a new slave cylender. After I reinsalled the engine everything works as it should except the cruise control I have checked fuses but I have no activation at all not even the dash light. Help Please

I would suggest getting a scan done to see if there are any trouble codes. Let me know if any found. If none we would have to proceed with trouble shooting which is a rather big file.
