Is there anyone out there that has had new Goodyear Wranglers on their S-10 4X4 and have noticed that they are fairly loud in the cabin while at 40 + MPH.

OR

Is there a problem with wheel bearings that I am missing and thinking that it is tire noise?

You may have a wheel bearing that is starting to fail. Have them checked.

I had the truck inspected by my own mechanic after I purchased the truck. Wheel bearings did not seem to be the cause.

I have had wheel bearing go bad on front drive cars and the sound is very distinctive, this noise seems to come and go.

I have had problems with Goodyear Wranglers on my 1998 and 2000 Jeeps with excessive noise that can be mistaken for front end problems.

My knowledge with S-10 4X4's is nil since I never owned one before.

Any other possibilities?

Thank you.
