Well first off I shaved my firewall and relocated all my wiring behind my dash. All this is done correctly and I have all my stuff properly grounded now heres the down fall after I got down after a months worth of work. I hook my battery but backwords. Now I no I fried my computer because it starts makin crazy noises but I bought a new computer hooked it up and soon as I hook my battery up my cluser gauge doesnt move but my miles and gear show and my battery light stays on. What should I do i'm lossing my mind

Fusible links could be down at the battery terminal on the starter. Light coming On -you have a short within the alternator circuit. Could be the diodes in the alty-

I was hoping it wasnt my alter. But if it is then I guess I will just by the high output one. But i'm headin out to the garage to try and look for the fusiable links. Now to find out if there bad or not just look for a melted wire?
