I just recently had a brand new fuel pump and filter put on to my S-10. It was fine for about a month, then out of no where the motor will be starved for fuel when I try to accelerate. It only happens after the vehicle has been running for a while. It seems like once it warms up the problem occurs. If I try to accelerate past 2000rpm it chokes out. If I push on the accelerator it acts like it wants to die, but if I let off the accelerator it will idle fine. I over come the problem while driving by shutting the truck off then restarting it. Then its fine until I have accelerate from a stop or slowing down.
