1997 S-10 4cyl 2.2L, 5speed trans. Truck as always been maintained by me it has new AC plugs, and wires, fuel filter and air filter recently been changed. Oil is always changed every 3,000 miles. Never had a problem always ran vary good for a 4cyl until recently it started to miss under accleration, spits and sputters and misfires.I drive the truck about 10,000 miles a year just tuned it up and changed fuel and air filter took it on a 3,000 mile trip ran perfect just like always. Then maybe 5 days after coming back home I went out of town maybe 45 miles and on the way back I noticed this problem. All electrical componets are origanal. Engine light is not on. Imthinking map sensor or ignition coils?
