Electrical problem
1996 Chevy S-10 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I went to get my truck inspected & I knew my turning signal lights were not working. I just thought maybe it was a burned out bulb or something.

The guy where I went to said it looks like maybe the Power Distribution center is bad or something. He checked the fuses and they seem to be fine.

I went to Advance Auto & CarQuest & they had something similiar to what I need but it wasn't exactly. Plus it was $150 & I wouldn't be able to bring it back if I hooked it up.

My question is, do you really think it could be something wrong with the Power Distribution Box? The Turning Signals, Hazard Lights are not working. The Cigarette Lighter hasn't never worked.

If there is another possibility of what it could be that is making my lights not working, someone please let me know. I guess I will have to go the junk yard to get one because I can't seem to find one around here.

Plus if there are other possibilities, I'd like to check them out before spending alot of money.

I appreciate all the help & suggestions :)

If both flasher for the turn and hazard lights are okay -you have a defective turn/hazard switch it goes thru there before it gets to the lights

Hello, did you try testing at the turn flasher? It should be in the power distribution center. You can unplug it, turn on the key, use a test lite, see if one of the terminals are hot, my info says terminal E. If that isn't hot, go to the turn fuse, see if the circuit goes hot when you turn on the key?
