I have the 2.2 engine. When I lightly press the gas from a stop it will almost stall untill I let off then it catches. When I slow down to make a turn and then slowly accelerate it does the same thing. It has a skip at idle and sometimes I get a strong gas oder. It runs like a champ on the highway. Service light was on showing evap codes P1441 and P0172 . Gas cap helped with that for now. I have replaced oxygen sensors,plugs,wires, crank sensor and IAC valve. also checked for vacum leaks. Thanks for you help. I'm getting ready to suck it up and go to the dealer.
