engine was running ruff along with some other signs that lead me to believe that i was having injector problems. what i finally did, was replace the injectors, in fact the whole system. i took the fuel filter off check it out and put it all back together. the bottom line is, i can get fuel all the way up pass the bleeder, but not to the injectors and it won't start at all. do i have to reset anything or what. the engine is a 4.03 and the truck is a s-10 ss model.

Do you have power to the injectors if so could be the computer ground drivers for the injectors or the computer is not getting an ignition reference signal to synchronize the injectors.

Ron,
I just went through a similar problem on a 99 S10. we could get the engine to run by shooting starting fluid in the air filter top with the top open. So I knew we weren't getting any fuel. The next step was to change the fuel pump, no help, then the fuel pressure regulator, no help, a little more research led us to the GM passlock system. Its basically a system that checks a resistance at the ignition switch and if it matches a preset value in the passlock module allows the fuel injectors to work. No match no fuel. If this sounds helpful then type in passlock problems for your truck and you'll get all kinds of information. Good Luck!
