While driving after about 10-15 mins the vehicle tends to studder like its loosing power and then it shuts off. It seems to mee when it gets warm or hot, it stops, but after sitting for about ten minutes it starts like nothing is wrong with it. Also, the check gages light comes on after it shuts off.

My first suggestion is to check to make sure alternator and battery are doing what they are suppose to do. The second thing is the symptoms you describing sounds like maybe ignition module heating up causing engine to shut down after it heats up to a certain temperture.
Its a common thing for modules to do this. When it cuts off check your fuel preasure first right after it cuts off if you dont have fuel preasure then its fuel pump if you have fuel preasure then its module

I was also told that the crank shaft censor would cause this problem also. Is it most likely to be the module than the cs censor?

Yes it could be crank shaft sensor also if you got a scanner you could check for rpm reading when engine dies and see it you have any rpms at all if you dont than crank sensor is problem.
