I recently bought a 1995 chevy s10 and while driving it home I noticed the speedometer is way off. When driving 40 mph the speedometer shows 60. When driving 55 mph, the speedometer shows 90. Is this a problem with the cluster or do I need to change a sensor somewhere or how can I fix this?

If you just bought the vehicle I would assume that the speed is set to kilometers and you just need to switch it back to mph. If not get back to us. There will be a button on cluster that says english/metric.

I jumped the gun and assume it is a digital dash and there is a english metric button but if its a needle then there is no button. What do you have?
