1995 Chevy S-10 engine sputtering

I've been have a problem with my engine while I am idle my engine sputters. And when I am driving up on the expressway my engine sputters when I tstep on the gas.

Sounds like you need a tune up, check your plug wires and distrubitor cap and rotor. Does it set an SES light?

No the ses light does not light up. The oil pressure needle bounces around alot could that be what could be causing the problem or is that just another problem I might have
