1994 Chevy S-10 engain will not start

1994 Chevy S-10 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

truck will only start with starting fluid will keep runing as long as I keep my foot on pedal and runs at full throttle but when I take my foot off pedal and comes back down to a ideal egaine stops running and will not start again with out spraying it again with starting fluid

Hi pine1, Welcome to 2carpros and TY for the donation

Do you hear the fuel pump come on for 2 secs-if so check the fuel pressure if its within specs, if not test the fuel pump fuse and fuel pump relay-if all okay

Also test the coolant temperature sensor and clean out the idle air control valve and EGR and PCV valves and test the throttle position sensor-
