I have a 1994 chevy s-10 pick up truck with 163000 miles. It has a 4.3 ltr v-6 vortex engine and I have replaced the fuel filter, spark plugs, dist cap and rotor, wires, and exhaust. Every once in a while the service engine soon light comes on and it boggs down like it is trying to stall. I would be driving on the highway doing 60 mph having no problems and then the truck just gives up, boggs down to about 30 mph and then will pick up back to 60 mph. It fluctuates like that just every once in a while. Sometimes when accelerating from a stop it will not want to go and then it will kick in and go with no problems. What could be the problem?

Try pulling code/s from the computer by jumping A to B in the DLC -Check and test the throttle position sensor, manifold absolute pressure sensor, EGR positioning sensor and the fuel pressure.
