Engine Mechanical problem
1993 Chevy S-10 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic
----------------------------------------------------------------
On a 1993 chevy S-10 4.3L engine with multi-point fuel injection, can the injectors go in any cylinder? Or does each injector have to go to a certain cylinder?
I was told that it doesn't matter which cylinder the injectors go in because the injectors are all activated at the same time. When fuel is delivered to one cylinder it is delivered to all the other cylinders at the same time.
If they have to go certain individual cylinders, can you tell me how to tell which cylinder they each go to?
Thank You,

A MPFI system has an injector on each cylinder and it doesn't matter where to put it on they all the same as long as its an OEM parts. 3-injectors will come On at one time and then followed by the other 3. by firing order. Also it all depends is to how the fuel injection system is programmed.
