I am trying to install an aftermarket Sun Super tach. On a 2.8 w/TBI, Vin " R "
Three of the four wire connetions are obvious, battery, ground and light. The 4th is to connect to the negitive side of the coil, if its the old style round type. But I have the new square style, which has 4 wires, pink and black that go to the distributer and pink and white that go ?. Its been forty years since I have worked on an engine and was never much good on the electical system anyway. The repair manuel was no help. And with all this new computorised crap I dont want to just pick a wire and shoot myself in the foot. Any suggestions?.
