I was driving my s10 pickup the other day and there was transmission fluid coming through my floor heater vents and i did not know what the reason was. And i also having trouble finding my dipstick. I looked the entire engine over and i cannot seem to find the dipstick or the hole at which it comes through.

first find the dipstick, it should be on the passengers side, by the firewall. look down the side of the engine by the bell housing. it could be covered by a heater hose making it hard to see. See if the dipstick is in place and check to see if it was partially out to cause fluid to leak in the duct. Also check the transmission line coming from the transmission cooler to see if there is a leak.
