My truck started rather suddenly not being able to stay running. It actually went dead while I was running it to keep the battery charged. I changed
the plugs, wires and fuel filter. While I had the filter disconnected from line I turned the key on to see if the pump was working. Fuel diid pump out of line but I not sure if the pressures were right. If I put gas in the carburetor it will run only until the gas burns up. Are there any other filters or vacuum lines that could be giving me problems? Any tips?

Hello,

If it will start and run for short time when fuel is added to Throttle Body, then you will need to have the fuel pressure checked. You could check at your local rental store to see if they have a fuel pressure tester.

It could be a weak fuel pump, or a bad fuel pressure regulator.
