1987 Chevy S-10 wont start

I try to start my truck, it turns over slowly. Im getting gas the distrubiter is fine, starter? Timeing?

It could be the starter. It can also be the timing if it is off to much it will cause a slow turn over. It could also be because of to much compression. If the vavles aren't opening do to colapsed lifters.

You can if you are able tale the starter off and take to your local auto parts store and have them bench test it. Just ask them to retest it a few time.

Oh here is another thing to check. Ake sure your ground wire from the battery is good and both ends are clean and tight. There are also some ground straps that may go from the hood to the block and/or from the block to the frame. If not sure they are bad just take some wire and ground at the same places making sure connections are clean and tight.
