Radiaitor is in good shape, no collasped or kinked hoses. Relapced the thermostat. After about 8 miles, it slowly overheats. Can the water pump get to the point that is just does not pump? Usually a slow, gradual build up to overheating is not indicatve of a head gasket or other major cooling system blockage. Help!!!

alright i just had the same issue with my 95 s10 and it ended up to be cracked head so you might want to take it into the dealership and they will be able to test that for you dont let them do it though unless you you have 2100 bucks thats wat the dealer tried to charge me if you have that money it would be easier to get a new 2.2l is only $1400 through a company that is down in texas hope you can get that fix
